Thanksgiving Round 1

We went down to Mom and Dad Morrison's house last weekend for a Thanksgiving celebration a little early so some of us could celebrate with both our families. Dave and Christine and Beth and Matt were there with their families. We had a lot of fun! We played soccer, football, made a turkey craft, played games, watched football, stayed up late and just enjoyed one another's company.  The pictures aren't the greatest because I forgot to put the memory card back in my camera and had to use my phone.

Soccer Team Photos

Sean and I were out of town during the Jamboree when the team pictures were taken, so I took pictures of their teams during practice a couple of weeks later and emailed them out to everyone so they could prints of what they wanted. Here are the ones of our boys and their teams.

Veteran's Day

On Veteran's Day Mom and Dad were up visiting Aunt Dottie and stopped by to have family home evening with us and Beth's family. We had a neat lesson- Sean shared an inspirational video and Dad shared some of his experiences from Vietnam.

Eleven Months

This girl is hard to take pictures of, ha,ha! She's getting pretty mobile and won't sit still anymore. She loves exploring the house and putting just about anything into her mouth, and loves that she can pull herself to a stand and even take a step or two while leaning on the furniture. She's learned how to fold her arms during a prayer, wave and say "bye, bye". She's eating more and more regular food, and can put down two jars of baby food at a time. She's more of a fan of throwing cheerios than eating them now. Apparently they're too bland now. :) I'm also thinking she's going to drop her second nap pretty soon. We love this baby girl so much! She has a such a sweet, playful personality.

Nathan's Field Trip

Beth watch the girl's for me so that I could go with Nathan on his field trip one morning. We went with his class into Portland to watch "The Reluctant Dragon" and cute little puppet play.  It was hard to take pictures in the dark little theatre, but here's one of us on the bus. It was fun to spend time with him!

End of Soccer Season

The boys had a great season! Sean coached all three of them and did and amazing job. It's a great way to have a positive effect on the community. We made some new friends as well. Nathan and Isaac were on the same U7 team and Josh was on a U10 team. We had a celebration at Dairy Queen the night before their last game with Nathan and Isaac's team and Sean presented the trophies. This group of boys was so fun to watch. They really improved throughout the season. They lost their first couple of games, but by the end of the season they were blowing teams out. They won their last game 7-0. Nathan and Isaac both scored lots of goals.

Josh's team was also fun to watch. They really improved as well, especially with their passing and scoring. Josh found that he loved defense and was really good at it.

It was a tight fit with the smaller team at Dairy Queen, so we decided to have the celebration with Josh's team on the field the next day.
One final cheer!
