General Conference

Sean started a great tradition with the boys, taking them to the Priesthood Session of General Conference after they turn twelve. Nathan turned twelve just after the priesthood session this year, so Sean took him. My dad flew down for it and they enjoyed this historic session with it being President Nelson's first conference as prophet, and the many new announcements.

Medieval Feast

Nathan had a fun activity at school that I got to come help with. They had a Medieval Feast where they dressed up, got to do activities like catapults and jousting, and then ate a feast with their hands. I made Nathan a costume in preparation and then I came and helped set up and decorate and then helped serve food and decorate. It was a lot of fun.

Emma's Field Trip to Discovery Museum

Emma had a fun field trip to the Discovery Gateway Museum that Lydia and I got to join in. It was a fun Children's Museum that the girls really enjoyed. They had fun playing in the construction  area, the playhouse and especially the farm area where they could get on the life-sized house.

Sunny Day at the Park

It seems like there's finally signs if spring! After going to the library, the girls spotted the playground at the park by it and wanted to play. It was great to get out into the sun a little bit. The girls wanted me to take a few pictures of them and send them to Sean. The joys of modern technology. :)

Jordan River Open House

We had a special opportunity to go through the Jordan River Temple Open House a couple weeks early with the Special Projects Department at the church. It was unique because it wasn't crowded at all, and we go walk anywhere we wanted allowing us to stop and talk more about each room and take the kids into a sealing room and show them the mirrors. It's a beautiful temple and it was an experience we'll never forget.

Our sweet Lydia

These days go by so quickly that I want to document everything before I forget. Our sweet Lydia is growing up so fast! She's talking so well now, is learning her colors and thinks she can do everything her older sibling can. She has the cutest personality and the funniest two-year-old sense of humor. We love her!
