I'm so excited that the boys are old enough to help me can! They helped me can 25 lbs of cherries. We'll be enjoying them this summer!

Matt and Carda come visit
Matt and Carda came down halfway through the week before Josh and Caleb got done with EFY and they left for Carda's family reunion. One day we went to temple square with them and enjoyed a tour of the conference center.

24th of July
It was our first 24th of July experience for several years! We were so sick on the 4th of July that we didn't get to go see the fireworks, so it was great to be able to see them from our backyard that night. We roasted smores on our firepit and then eat back and enjoyed it all.

Ogden Rodeo
Caleb came and stayed with us for a couple of days before he and Josh went to EFY. One evening we went to the Ogden rodeo. It was a lot of fun and a little of everything. At the end they had some stunts by motorcycle and four-wheeler jumpers. Pretty cool!

Odgen Dinosaur Park
We went on another trip to the Ogden Dinosaur Park. It was a neat place, especially the inside museum part, and I think we would have enjoyed the outside more, but it was so hot that we didn't last very long.

Trip to the zoo
Sean and Josh went to the Stake Young Mens Camp for a few days and so I took the other kids on a couple outings. One day we went to the zoo. It was a hot summer day so it was fun to go to the splash pad there. The have it set up like a beach. It was also fun so see some of the animals playing in the water and the new red panda exhibit.

New Basketball court- a family project
We decided that we wanted to put in a basketball court in the backyard, and at first hired a company to come a do it. Sean and the boys cleared out a couple trees and it seemed like we were set to go. After several frustrations with the company, included a busted sprinkler main, we decided to do it ourselves. We were blessed to have Brother Frasier come help us! He helped us prep it and several men from the ward came on pour day to help finish it. It turned out great!
