Enchanted Forest

We went down to Albany for the weekend before David and Kendra left for Chicago so we could take family pictures and we decided to go down a day early. We met Robbie and Kristen and my mom at Enchanted Forest after going to Hillsboro and watching the air show with Matt and the kids during lunch and having a picnic at a park there. It was a warm day, but we had a lot of fun. We played, went on a few rides and enjoyed the funny play they put on.

 

Theatre Camp

Josh had an awesome experience going to theatre camp this summer in Sandy. He got to go for two weeks and at the end they put on a performance for the last two evenings. They put on a medley of sketches and songs from animated movies. It was really cute and the kids did a great job, especially after such a short time. Josh was in several group performances and sang a solo during the Aladdin song, "A Whole New World." He did an amazing job.  He wasn't so sure about theatre camp the first few days, but soon got into it and really enjoyed it. He definitely wants to do it again next summer.

 

Musical Kids

I love it when our kids play together. On a relaxing summer morning the kids put together a little band and made some music. We have the best kids ever!

The Last Flight

Josh pulled out his plane Sunday afternoon to see if he could fly it again. We went over to a school and Sean helped him put it back together and they got it flying! They got it to fly several times, and one flight went especially well. On the last one, unfortunately the nose broke off and it seemed like it would be it's last. They threw most of it away. After we got home Sean and Josh looked into getting a new one, and found they could order a replacement body! They went and got it out of the garbage and are waiting for the new piece. This picture will not be the last!
