Hannah's Four!

Our first little girl is four! We can't believe it. She is growing into such a sweet, fun-loving girl and we love having her in our family. She loves princesses, horses, dolls and all things sparkly. She's a great sister and always loves to add fun to any room.

Josh planned a fun scavenger hunt to do the afternoon of her birthday after church. It was completely his idea and he put it together all by himself. He's such a great big brother! They had a lot of fun!

Hannah decorating her cake. She requested a sparkly cake and saw an idea on the box to put a crown on. She had fun putting on the sprinkles and the decorative balls.

Opening her presents. She wanted horses of her own and a Barbie. She was very excited!

She got some new clothes as well.

We love you Hannah!

Nathan's 9th Birthday!

Can you believe this guy is nine? He is really turning into a wonderful young man. One of my favorite things about him is how he finds random acts of service to do for his family members. He's smart, athletic, thoughtful kind and is a wonderful brother and son. He got to  celebrate on two days this year. His birthday was on a Tuesday, so we had waffles for breakfast and had a little celebration that night after a busy afternoon of gymnastics, soccer and football practices.  He loves horses and wanted a horse trailer for his birthday, so we got one to match his Schleich horses and barn.

That Saturday we had a little party at the bowling alley. He invited a friend and we had pizza and cake there. He requested a minecraft cake and so after getting some inspiration from pinterest I put one together for him. It was a lot of fun. I made it out of chocolate cake and used jello for the water. Later that day, he had his first mini soccer game during the jamboree. He said he had a great day!
We love you Nathan!

Easter

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend watching General Conference and celebrating Easter. After the afternoon session on Saturday the kids colored Easter eggs while Sean went to the priesthood session. After he got back we headed down to my parents house to celebrate Easter.

The Easter bunny came that morning! They announced it to us at 2am! We convinced them to go back to bed and they all got up at 7am later.  The kids enjoyed a toy, a book and some candy.

The kids had fun helping Grandma decorate bunny cakes for dessert that night.

 Aft
In between sessions we had fun doing an Easter egg hunt in the front yard. We were pleasantly surprised by a nice, dry morning, instead of a rainy one that we were expecting.
