Nathan got to go to a fun camp in the Santa Cruz mountains for a few nights. I joined him for the last two days so that I could help him with his diabetes. They had lots of fun activities like hiking, rock climbing, games, dances and lots of outdoor fun. I was proud of Nathan on the rock climbing wall. It was over 40 ft high and had a very difficult park to get up close to the top. He didn't make it the first time, but he persevered and made it the second time. The second day I went with him on a hike where they learned about local plants and trees, and got to make redwood ash mud to put on their faces. He had a great time and made new friends!
