Jelly Belly Factory

The kids have a couple of weeks off of school for fall break so we decided to do some fun things around here. When I hear the Jelly Belly factory was nearby I thought we had to check it out. It ended up being a lot of fun. They have a visitor's center there and give tours, along with a free bag of jelly beans at the end. The kids enjoyed picking out some candy at the huge candy shop at the end and we got a jelly bean shaped pizza for lunch at the café.

McKenna's Baptism

We got to take a quick trip up to Oregon for McKenna's baptism on Saturday. It worked out perfectly with the kids getting out of school early at 1:00pm... we drove up to my parents house that night and the next day we drove up to Portland. We saw the improvements on Beth and Matt's house, dropped some things off at our old house, and then headed over to Hillsboro for the big event. It was a beautiful baptism and afterwards we went to Megan and R.J.'s for dinner and then over to Matt and Carda's to watch the Oregon football game. Afterwards we headed back to my parents for the night and headed home after church the next morning. It was a quick trip, but we had a lot of fun and made the most of it, getting so see a lot of family. We're so glad that we're still close enough to make it to the big events.

Isaac's School Music Performance

I mostly got video from his performance, but I wanted to put in the few pictures I took. Isaac did a great job participating in the 2nd grade music performance him and his classmates put on at his school. They sang lots of cute songs. It was the first time I'd ever seen him really nervous, but he said he was fine once he got up there and didn't seem nervous at all.

Lydia's Three Months!

Lydia has been our little angel baby! She has been a tender mercy during a very busy time and we are so grateful. She can hold her head all by herself now, can hold it at a 90 degree angle while on her tummy now, and is starting to coo more and can even laugh! She starting to discover her hands and is starting to bat at toys on her toy bars. She starting waking up once a night after we moved here, but is sleeping through the night again. She loves our daily walks as we take the boys to school each day and loves to play. We love our Baby Lydia!
