Josh's Birthday

Josh is 11! I'm enjoying being taller than him for now, because I know it won't last long.  This kid is growing up fast and becoming a wonderful young man. We're so proud of him and are very grateful he's part of our family. He's really excited for his priesthood preview in a couple of weeks.

We threw around a few ideas for his birthday, and he finally decided on having a bowling party with a couple of his friends. We found a great deal at the local bowling alley and Sean took the boys and Josh's friend Yamato and cousin Caleb over there for a fun couple of hours. Sean said they made the party really nice for them. They provided drinks and a nice bowling pin for his friends to sign. Later they even announced Josh's name over the loud speaker and everyone applauded. Afterwards they came back to the house for lunch, cake and ice cream and presents.

Josh requested blueberry crepes for breakfast.

He helped me make his Uncle Matt's chocolate lasagna recipe for his cake. Yum!

The even bowled without the bumpers!

Enjoying Papa Murphy's pizza for lunch.

Josh chose some Minecraft toys for his cake.

Christmas Day

The kids slept in a little bit...they weren't up until 5:08am, ha,ha! Josh got up with his annual greeting of Santa's been here, Santa's been here! All but Emma, who wanted to get some more sleep, headed downstairs to  see what Santa had brought. We were all so excited!

 Hannah got a new bike!
Josh got a 3DS and Nathan got an ipod touch!
 Isaac got a robo dog!

After seeing what Santa brought and going through our stockings, we opened our presents.
It's so much fun to see what the kids pick out for each other. They get very excited and do a great job of getting each other what they want.

Emma got a little later... Santa brought her a play tent!

 Enjoying the new bike.

Uncle Ryan and Grandma and Granpa Frome came up later for Christmas dinner. They brought the kids their presents. It was a wonderful day!
