Youth conference was amazing! Sean did such a great job planning it. They had a barbecue and yard games on Friday night followed by an amazing speaker who came and did a fire walk. It was amazing to watch the kids, who were not only brave enough to walk over it, but they were excited to do it. They all lined up and cheered for each other as they did it. The next morning we did a service project for Primary Children’s Hospital. We made 26 blankets, 46 medical play dolls, and 58 activity kits for the Diabetes clinic. It was so inspiring to see all the kids jump in and work hard for 2 1/2 hours. Lydia and I got to deliver it the following week before her next check up appointment.
After the service project the kids had lunch and then went to classes. Then they had a dinner and a fun dance that evening. Overall it was a great success!
