Fun at the Pool

We've sure enjoyed having a pool in our HOA this summer! We've gone almost every day.

A Day Trip to Provo

The kids said that they wanted to hike up to the Y behind BYU and so we took a day trip down there. We got up early, packed some snacks and drove there. First I drove the kids to see our old apartment in Wymount Terrace. It still looks the same! Then we hiked to the Y. They made it up and even Lydia walked part way. Afterwards we of course had to go to the creamery for ice cream. Then we went to the Monte L. Bean museum, which had been added on to since we were there last. After a tour of Provo we headed home. It was a fun, tiring day!

Tyler came to visit

Isaac's friend Tyler came to Utah with his family and he was able to spend the night with us. Isaac really enjoyed having him here!

Lake Almanor, California

We finally made it up to Lake Almanor! We had bought a week there at the Boy Scout auction in Brentwood last year in the Spring and weren't able to use it last summer, and so the Aedo's were kind enough to let us put it off until this summer. It was the perfect time too. We took off right after school got out and spent the week relaxing, swimming, kayaking, playing, and going to Lassen national park. We really enjoyed our time there and will probably get a cabin for vacation again in the future.
