Josh and Nathan had their first mountain bike race on Saturday at Beaver Mountain. They did great! Josh moved up over thirty places in his group and Nathan shaved off five minutes from his one lap time from last year.

Whiting Family Reunion
We had a great time at the Whiting Reunion at Arbon Valley near Pocatello, Idaho. It was where my great grandpa Whiting was born and spent some of his childhood. We got up early and drove up there and met most of the people at an old log home where he was born. It was amazing that it was still standing! The kids are amazed that anyone can live in such a small home. It definitely was humbling. We also stopped by the old one room school house where the kids went to school.
Afterwords we went back to the campground for lunch, and then played games. The girls made bottle rockets and shot them off. Everyone played spike ball, nine square, volleyball, and crafts. It was great to sit around and chat and catch up with everyone. We are Great Grandma Whiting’s recipe called “Chop Suey” for dinner.
