Early Christmas with Mom and Dad

The night after Thanksgiving, Beth planned a surprise Christmas party for Mom and Dad to send them off on their mission. We ate pizza and then the families performed songs and other things for them, and then they opened some gifts. We're so excited for them as they go on their mission!

Thanksgiving

We had a fun and crazy Thanksgiving! Our nephew Austin was going through the temple for the first time that weekend, so they asked if they could stay with us and we thought it would be great to have everyone over to our house for Thanksgiving. We borrowed a couple of tables  and some chairs from the church and had a party! There was lots of great food, games and lots of fun!

Oregon State vs Arizona State

The boys were wanting to go to a college football game this year, and when we looked at tickets it was definitely more affordable to go to an Oregon State game. Josh wanted to go to the Arizona State game, and when we bought the tickets at the beginning of September we had no idea it was going to be such a big game. Oregon State has been struggling lately and Arizona State was ranked #6 in the country. We knew it was going to be cold and I honestly thought we'd be glad to leave after the third quarter or so during a blow-out. We were so wrong! Oregon State kept it close- getting an early lead and though Arizona State lead later it never got out of hand and they came back and won!  They sealed the deal with an exciting interception for a touchdown at the end of the game. It was one of the biggest games in Oregon State's history. Even though our feet were frozen, it was all worth it! It was one we won't forget for a long time.

We were very grateful for Grandma and Grandpa Frome for taking care of the girls for us and letting us stay with them after the late game!

Snow Day

The kids got a day off of school when the weather forecasters predicted 3-5 inches of snow. We didn't get the snow, only a little sleet, but the kids found lots of ways to have fun.

Mission Call

On Sunday we went over to Matt and Carda's for three different things... Janessa's baby blessing, Mom and Dad opened their mission call, and Carda's 40th birthday. It was a great afternoon.  Mom and Dad found out that they're going to Minneapolis, Minnesota where Megan and R.J. live! They were thrilled. We're very excited for them.
