Spring Fling

As the school year wraps up there's lot of activities. The school put on an awesome Spring Fling! I didn't realize how big it was going to be. There were four bounce houses, pony rides, a tumble time bus, carnival games, prizes, food vendors and more! The kids had a great time.

PInewood Derby

The boys a had fun pinewood derby this year! Sean did a great job cutting the cars out with a hand saw and the boys did the rest of the sanding and painting themselves. Sean put in fishing weights and the we put the wheels on. They all did well! The cubmaster even let Josh race this year.

Isaac ended up getting second place in the whole pack! He won every race until the final.

I had some fun coordinating the refreshments and made some race cars out of twinkies too.

Hannah's 5th birthday and party

Our oldest daughter is five! It's hard to believe that she'll be in Kindergarten next year. She's turning into a wonderful, sweet girl who is smart, athletic, and has a great sense of humor. She loves dance and gymnastics and can keep up with her brothers at almost anything.

Hannah had pancakes for breakfast on a busy birthday. We had a lot of baseball that week so we had a little family party that night after a couple of baseball games and then had a princess party with her friends on Friday morning. We made crown pizzas, played princess and the pea, a balloon game and hit a piñata. Afterwards she opened presents and we had cupcakes and ice cream. Everyone had a lot of fun.

Fourth Grade Musical

Nathan's grade put on a great musical about the California Gold Rush and they dressed up in their pioneer clothing that they for their Sutter's Fort field trip. They played their recorders and sang songs with actions. Nathan did a great job.
