Field Trip to Big Break

I got to go with Isaac on his field trip to Big Break. They learned about the local eco-systems, the animals and how to take care of their environment. It was a great time.

Solar Eclipse

We would have loved to have made to Oregon to see the eclipse in totality, but with the kids being in school, and the predictions of really bad traffic, we decided not to risk it. Josh and Nathan were able to see it at school, so Sean and I pulled the younger ones out of school for an hour so see it. I wasn't able to find any glasses, so I had made several viewing boxes. Luckily, a nice guy at the park let us use his! It was amazing to see, even with the 80% we got here.
